Welcome to my page. It has been created for the many people who have asked me at the various craft
shows I do how they can reorder the beautiful clothing I have designed. If you have already bought clothing
from me you know how wonderful it is and how easy it is to care for. If you haven't bought from me yet, all I
can suggest is that you try one set. You are in for a real treat. If you are not happy with it, send it back within
10 days for a refund, less postage.

In my ongoing effort to keep expenses low so that I can offer my designs at very reasonable prices, I
decided that rather than pay thousands of dollars to a high priced consultant to construct a web site for me,
and then be forced to raise the prices of my clothing to recoup this expense, I have personnaly built this web
site. It was a labor of love; great joy and excrutiating frustration. If it appears amateurish, I apologize, but that
is who made it. I figure you are smart enough to let your eyes focus on what is important and not on what is
"plastic or hype". All the photos you will see were taken by me using a digital camera. No attempt to "trick
up" any of the photos was made. I am aware of the many ways there are to make a skirt, dress, blouse,
trouser or short appear more attractive than what it actually is. If anything, I did the exact opposite. I did not
try to "gild the lily" and make everything appear "perfect". There are some photos you will see that appear to
make the garment look unstylish or rumpled. I did this so that you could see what the outfit or garment might
look like if worn in different ways by a normal person. I respect your intelligence and I am not looking to fool
you into buying something that will be different than it appears. I want you as a customer for life. I want you to
love what you get from me and tell your friends and family where to find my page. I want you to do my selling
for me because you know that you are being treated with respect and are getting great value for your hard
earned dollar. If you are looking for fabulous looking, comfortable, durable, practical clothing at a truly
affordable price, you have come to the right place. What you see is what you will get and, if you take proper
care of it, a whole lot more.

The patterned fabric is batik-an ancient art form which is a wax and dye process. All patterned fabric is
rayon. I suggest hand washing in cold water and allowing the fabric to drip dry. Little if any ironing is
required. It is unlikely the colors will run inasmuch as the fabric is washed 3 times before being cut into
garments. The reason I suggest hand washing is because the fabric is so lovely that if it is pampered it
will last for years and still be beautiful. All of the clothing is practical because it is so forgiving. I say
"forgiving" because if your weight fluctuates up or down you will not be forced to alter the garment every
time you put on or lose a few pounds. Friends or members of the same family can easily wear the same
garment in spite of there being a difference in height and weight (within reason).

The long skirts are available in two sizes. The regular sized long and short skirt accommodates up to
size 14; the plus size skirt fits ALL others. Plus sized skirts are currently available only in long.

The clothing can be used for many things. For example the wrap skirts can be worn casually or to
dress up. They can be worn with various solid colored blouses and make for a stunning outfit.They
can be used as a wonderful beach cover because they are wrinkle resistant. If you are travelling
during the summer months and want to wear shorts while touring because of the temperature but
also need something to cover your legs should you want to enter a cathedral or museum, they are
ideal. The short skirt can be folded so small as to literally fit in a trouser pocket, if desired.

My motivation for posting a web page resulted from hearing more and more comments such as this
when I revisited craft shows:

"...Good-you're here. I'm so glad. You're the only reason I came here today. I've been waiting all year
for this day because I bought from you last year at this show and I wanted to order more but I didn't
know how to get in touch with you. I get such wonderful compliments every time I wear your clothing
and I love the way it feels and launders. My friends and family wanted to order also. Is there any way I
can order during the year instead of waiting for you to show up again next year? Do you have a web
page?..."

Well- now I do. Sorry I was so slow. I got into this for many reasons- $$$ was not at the top of the list.
I wanted something to do on weekends mostly-an outlet for my creative side. I also did not have a
woman in my life and I figured this was a great way to meet her (still looking). My little boy, Jacob,
was always with me on weekends and I found some great fairs in some great places that he loved
being at.

Well-as it turns out- you don't always get what you want. I wanted a weekend hobby but it has evolved
into a lot more- thus this web site. I still only work mostly weekends 6 months a year from April to the
end of September-middle of October. Nope-so far I have not worked during the holidays. Lots of
things more valuable than $$$. Anyway, I think I'm part bear because I get this urge to den up in the
colder months. Jacob's with me-I won't have him outside at a fair in the cold months. From mid
January through the end of March I am abroad doing my design work and getting ready for the new
season. Those of you who know me know there are new things almost every season. I went from just
skirts and blouses the first year to shorts, open and straight legged trousers, plus size skirts and
most recently dresses in the past 5 years. I haven't a clue what I'm going to design this winter-still
waiting for inspiration.

I do everything myself- that's why the prices are so low. I've been more interested in establishing a
feeling of friendship with my customers than making money. I don't want to be trapped by having a store.
